Labyrinth Walking

Thursday, April 3rd: Walk the Labyrinth at St. Paul's.

Labyrinth walking (which is very different from a maze), is an ancient form of meditation. Labyrinths can be found laid in the floors of churches around the world, such as the great cathedral of Chartres, in France. The mediation consists of simply walking slowly and thoughtfully along the labyrinth path. The paths twists and turns, approaching the centre and then drawing away from the centre, until eventually, you complete the course. Many people see the circuit as a symbol for life's often changing paths, with many surprises along the way.
